This is a recipe for the best fried chicken there is. You can use a whole cut-up fryer, or you can use your favorite chicken pieces. You need:
- Whole cut-up fryer chicken or your favorite chicken pieces
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Seasoned Salt
- Canola oil or vegetable oil
- Western Star Seasoned Flour
Start with a heavy skillet, and put about 1/2" to 3/4" oil in the pan and heat to about 350 on medium-high heat. Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and seasoned salt. Dredge chicken pieces in Western Star Seasoned Flour, and fry in hot oil for about 20 minutes on each side, or until brown.
Fried Chicken goes great with mashed potatoes and almost any vegetable.
