One of my favorites ... Stuffed Pork Chops !!!
To serve 4 people:
- 4 thick-cut pork chops
- Salt
- Pepper
- Seasoned Salt
- 1 box of your favorite stove top stuffing mix
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- Western Star Seasoned Flour
Season pork with salt, pepper, and seasoned salt, dredge in Western Star Seasoned Flour, and brown the pork chops in canola oil or vegetable on top of the stove. Prepare stove top stuffing per package directions. Split the thick-cut pork chops, and stuff with prepared stove-top stuffing. Place in baking dish, and put the rest of the stove-top stuffing on top. Mix cream of mushroom soup with 1/2 can of water, and pour over the chops and dressing. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until pork chops reach 160 degrees.
If you have trouble splitting the chops, you can just put the stuffing over the top, and then add the soup.
This dish is best prepared in a counter-top convection oven. Cooking time is 30 minutes, or until the chops reach 160 degrees. I like to serve it with fresh asparagus.
